About the Affection—Beautiful Giving Product Line
A sluggish economy has caused Pioneer Center to look within and creatively address new ways of fundraising. The first step in this endeavor is the creation of its own bath product line named Affection—Beautiful Giving.

This new, philanthropic initiative will provide work opportunities for the clients served through Pioneer Industries, a division of Pioneer Center, located in McHenry.  Pioneer Industries will oversee the production of the product line. Up until now, the division had utilized subcontracted work to offer hands-on vocational training, rehabilitation counseling and job skills training to individuals with developmental disabilities. With the new Affections product line clients will be able to learn important work and life skills.

Proceeds raised through the sales of the Affections product line will go back to Pioneer Center to help ensure the continued viability of the many programs it offers the community.
