The attorneys are not legal aid, low-income or pro bono. The referral entitles the caller to a 30 minute consultation in the attorney's office for a fee of not more than $15, with no obligation. Callers remain anonymous, with no pressure to reveal their identity and still collect their rewards. Crime Stoppers is a program which involves the publicand the media in the fight against crime. Anonymous callers are issued a secret code number used when collecting the reward.
