Volunteer Services...helping
people achieve things in their lives...
Do you want to do some volunteer work but aren't sure what you'd
like to do? Pioneer Center is the place for you. We offer a
variety of volunteer opportunities to individuals and groups
that can fit into your busy schedule. Whether it is working one
on one with one of our clients, or working behind the scenes in
one of our fund raising efforts, we have the opportunity for
you! Experience the feeling that you are helping people achieve
things in their lives that they never thought possible. Pioneer
Center staff truly appreciates the work and dedication of
volunteers, and clients are grateful for the opportunity to meet
and know someone new and different in their lives. Training and
orientation are provided.
- Volunteer to visit our
group homes and share an hour playing a board game, card
game or reading.
- Teach a group of children
computer skills
- Help distribute
information from Pioneer
Center
- Help with outings for our
clients to museums, zoos, children's concerts, amusement
parks and other activities.
