Center’s future will continue to be built on delivering excellent care and community inclusive services that best help people achieve their goals and dreams.
Pioneer Center understands the importance of listening to the needs presented by our community, those we serve and our families. Delivering high-quality services that match these needs is a top priority for us. Family input is unique and cherished as we strive to create confidence that Pioneer Center will be here for their loved ones today and in the future. Partnering with families can be emotional, but also joyful as we see the amazing accomplishments of those we care so much about.
Based on community input we proudly developed three new developmental disability programs over the past year. Pioneer Center now offers a respite drop-off center called our CARE Program that gives families a much needed break while providing an enriching experience for their family member. We developed a beautiful new group home in Lake in the Hills. Additionally, we opened our Me Program, a community inclusive day program on the Woodstock square that creates exciting, self-directed experiences and opportunities. Pioneer
I am very proud that the Pioneer Center team has focused on more deeply serving our families over the past year. It is amazing to see the love and care displayed by our family members.
