Please Welcome Timothy J. Moran
Pioneer Center announces the appointment of new Board Member Timothy J. Moran, Senior Vice President at Wintrust Business Banking, located in Crystal Lake, IL. With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, Tim provides our Board of Directors (BOD) with a wide variety of financial knowledge and skills.
“I am passionate about Pioneer Center because I grew up with an uncle that had Down Syndrome, Uncle Billy,” explains Moran. “Back then we didn’t have the support or resources Pioneer Center provides and I saw the struggles it caused my family trying to raise him on their own. Hearing about the mission was near and dear to my heart and my family,” adds Moran.
Tim resides in Cary, IL with his wife Cathy that he met in college and their 6 children, 2 boys and 4 girls. His children range in ages from their youngest, 11-year-old twin girls, to their oldest at 23 years old. The activities of six children keeps the family busy, especially with fastpitch softball, where Tim has been coaching in the Cary-Grove and Algonquin areas for more than 15 years.
In addition, Tim is a conservationist and serves on the Ruffed Grouse Society committee and enjoys outdoor activities including fishing and hunting with his Brittany Spaniels.
