Schneider Electric/Square D Foundation, recently gave back to the community with a grant of $5,000 to McHenry County PADS, a program of Pioneer Center for Human Services. Schneider Electric is a global specialist in energy management with operations in more than 100 countries and offers integrated solutions across multiple market segments, including leadership positions in Utilities & Infrastructures, Industries & Machine Manufacturers, Non-residential Buildings, Data Centers & Networks and the Residential sector.
“Pioneer Center is incredibly grateful to everyone at Schneider Electric for its commitment to the individuals we serve,” said Christin Kruse, Chief Development Officer and Pioneer Center Foundation Vice President, “Community-minded businesses such as Schneider Electric, make it possible for Pioneer Center to sustain the McHenry County PADS program.”
The generous donation from Schneider Electric is in support of Pioneer Center’s homelessness services. McHenry County PADS helps people find their way back from homelessness. It offers emergency and transitional housing coupled with support services in order to help homeless individuals work toward becoming self-sufficient. These support services enable individuals to receive case management, job training, counseling and psychiatric services, as well as day-to-day services including access to showers, laundry facilities, transportation, computers and an address at which to receive mail. The program is specifically designed to address the root causes of homelessness and not just treat the symptoms.
“It is with great pleasure that Schneider Electric can help support organizations such as the Pioneer Center, who have demonstrated their commitment and advocacy to human services within our communities” said Jeanne Stark, Director, CRM Deployment North America for Schneider Electric.
