Pioneer Center for Human Services has partnered with Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital to offer immediate access to services offered by Pioneer. In a unique collaboration, Pioneer Center will now offer an admissions center one evening a week, conveniently located within Advocate’s Outpatient Center in Crystal Lake. There, individuals will receive preliminary evaluations, complete enrollment paperwork, and determine benefit eligibility to offer quicker access to services.
“It’s beneficial for patients to have a ‘one-stop shop’ regarding treatment options. It can often be overwhelming and difficult to navigate the healthcare system. By having Pioneer Center staff present in the same building, patients can address their emotional and behavioral health needs the same day they are seeing to their medical needs,” said Sandy Montalvo, Director of Admissions for Pioneer Center.
“Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital is excited to partner with Pioneer Center to help create greater access throughout McHenry County for the essential human services they offer to the individuals they serve.” Mike Ploszek-Vice President Ambulatory Services & Operations, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
The new walk-in admissions center is located inside Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital’s Outpatient Center at 525 Congress Parkway in Crystal Lake. Staff is on hand each Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. To learn more about the Pioneer Center Admissions Center, call 815.759.7204.
