Per established safety guidelines, we can no longer accept donated items left at our door during non-business hours. Any items left will be disposed of without exception.

***Please note, we do not accept computers, televisions, mattresses, car seats, appliances or furniture.***

Clothing

Unfortunately, at this time we are not accepting clothing donations. During certain seasons we may look for specific clothing items. Please watch for updates on our website in regards to these needs.

General Goods

General goods donations can be dropped off at McHenry County PADS on Monday—Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Items needed include:

  • Paper towels
  • Paper plates
  • Garbage bags
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Coffee
  • Coffee filters
  • Ziploc bags
  • Combs/brushes
  • Bath towels
  • Shampoo/conditioner
  • Deodorant

  • Sleeping bags
  • Batteries
  • Flashlights
  • Retail gift cards
  • Gas gift cards

Food

We accept donations of non-perishable canned goods. Food donations can be dropped off at McHenry County PADS on Monday—Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
