Welcome New Board Member Cassidy Richardson

Pioneer Center is proud to announce the appointment of Cassidy Richardson to our Board of Directors. Cassidy currently serves as the Human Resources Manager at Scotsman Ice in Vernon Hills, IL, and brings with her over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Her expertise in employee relations and organizational development will be a tremendous asset to our leadership team.

“I am passionate about Pioneer Center because I grew up with a lot of mental health struggles in my family,” shares Richardson. “It was not talked about, and when it was addressed, it was often too late. Pioneer Center offers resources for this and so much more—destigmatizing and bringing resources to the forefront of the community.”

Cassidy resides in McHenry, IL, with her husband Adam, their five children, and one grandchild. With a busy household that includes two boys and four girls—ranging in age from a toddler grandchild to a 20-year-old—family life is always full of energy and activity.

In her downtime, Cassidy enjoys retreating to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where she and her family can unwind and enjoy time together off the grid and away from screens.
