Pioneer Center for Human Services provides a wide range of services and supports for more than 670 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout McHenry County, Illinois. Our dedicated team of more than 200 professionals helps individuals build independence, develop meaningful relationships, participate in their communities, and pursue their personal goals.

Every person we serve has unique strengths, needs, and aspirations. Our services are customized to provide the right level of support for each individual, from skill-building and daily coaching to more comprehensive assistance. We focus on helping people make choices, develop confidence, and achieve greater independence in their everyday lives.
