Welcome New Board Member Susan Thome

Pioneer Center is proud to announce new Board member Susan Thome, Lead Director of Experience Research and Design at Signify Health, a CVS Health company, where she leads cross-functional teams dedicated to improving how people experience health care. Her career has spanned writing, UX architecture, and design leadership for large organizations, with earlier experience in nonprofit communications.

Susan states, “I look forward to contributing research, design, and communications expertise to help the organization continue expanding its reach.”

A longtime resident of McHenry County, Susan has admired the meaningful work Pioneer Center does for individuals and families and sees the positive impact and effect of its programs throughout the community.

“I’m honored to join the board and give back to the community I call home,” adds Susan.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys traveling (especially family trips to National Parks), taking daily walks in her Crystal Lake neighborhood, and trying her hand at crafts.

We are excited to welcome Susan as a member of the Pioneer Center Board of Directors. Her passion and expertise will make her a key contributor to our mission.
